Level 2 - Ideal for all Level 2 Motor Vehicle courses!Level 3 - Ideal for all Level 3 Motor Vehicle courses (sorry currently out of print)! These books covers all aspects of the knowledge required for a level 2 or a level 3 qualification. The content is appropriate for any motor vehicle course and in particular NVQs. A key part of the books worth mention is the use of glossary or terminology tables. In various places throughout the different sections you will find 'Key Words' and at the end of each main section, 'Learning Tasks' similar to the following but relating to the main subject area:
Most chapters start with a simple introduction (Start here!) and then cover terminology or in other words, the words and abbreviations you will need to know for the particular section. The next sections deal with the subject in more depthAfter reading each main section and carrying out the learning tasks, you will have a better understanding of the subject you have just read about. UPK statements from the NVQ standards are listed at the front of the books together with references to the chapters and sections. You will be able to generate some evidence of UPK for your portfolio as you complete the learning tasks. If you do not understand any areas, you will be able to study the chapter again. It will be quite normal to study some chapters more than once. Good luck with your studies! |
